The Wampler girls take on SLC

When my Best Friend liz finally decided to come visit me here in SLC, I was beyond excited. I pictured us sitting on my back patio with my silly hubby, drinking wine from les bourgeois glasses, reminiscing about old times and catching up on the new. Kinda like this...

But then we thought, how much fun would it be to have her girls come and play too? BEST IDEA EVER! We had so much fun, I couldn't have imagined it going smoother. The kids played, crafted, ate treats, and played some more. Liz and I talked, played with the kids, ate veggies (what?), drank wine, and talked some more. She taught me some cool stuff on the computer and took tons of pics (1000 to be exact)!

I mean, don't get me wrong, our nights after the kiddos crashed were tons of fun...but look at all the fun memories we made! Thanks to her fabulous photog skills, here's a peek at what we did when the Wampler girls took on SLC!

Carnival Party Fun!

We went to a super fun birthday party yesterday for my friend Jylaire’s kids London and Beckett. It was a carnival party, and she did such an amazing job! I wish I would’ve gotten a pic of the whole backyard...tons of games, prizes, face painting, hot dogs, popcorn, and a balloon guy. What could be more fun? I did get just a couple of shots of the girls on my iphone that I couldn’t resist posting though!

I wanted to add a few more pictures from the week we spent with Mel, Shawn, Sara, and Brandon. Like I said before, Sara has been out the past three years to visit us and watch Jean play soccer. Each year at least one of my sisters has joined her, and this year it was Mel. She brought her fiance Shawn along, and it was fun spending time with them and getting to know him better. They are getting married in October, and I'm so excited for their wedding. Mel and Shawn left on Thursday but we got to keep Sara and Brandon through the weekend. We had such a fun time with all of them, and thankful they could come stay for awhile. So sad they're gone, but it was fun
while it lasted!
